This role can be based remotely any where in the UK although some training and meetings may be required in either the Blackburn or Kendal offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing investigations into bugs or data issues to determine the root cause
  • Identifying and rolling out fixes to bugs or data issues
  • Identifying improvements to existing processes to reduce support requests\maintenance overheads
  • Manage workload to deliver work to agreed timescales
  • Maintain documentation within our wiki of investigations, processes, and support fixes
  • Liaising with people at all levels of the company who will a wide variety of technical skills and product knowledge

Essential skills you will require include:

  • Good MS SQL Server (scripting/analysis/imports) (2 years +)
  • Coding or scripting experience (2 years +)
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to attend our premises to install/support our software products

You will have had experience with or exposure to at least some of the following:

  • C# .Net
  • ASP.Net MVC
  • Kendo UI (or other Telerik controls)
  • JavaScript/jQuery
  • CSS
  • HTML
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
