What a typical day looks like:

  • Receiving/inspecting goods on site or off site.
  • Make sure all documentation is filled in properly and signed and dated.
  • Creating picklists & picking material for onsite/off site to schedule and delivering to line/site.
  • Offloading materials for Goods Inward Inspection
  • Movement of material/product to line side or with in the warehouse
  • General Housekeeping, baling of the cardboard in the warehouse.
  • Maintain stock, label/combine/tidy.
  • Operating fork truck and Reach trucks
  • Weighting and recording same of scrap copper bins,
  • Assisting in mechanical fitting as and when required
  • General assembly works
  • Cycle counting.
  • Packing/palletising/wrapping of goods for onward shipping.
  • Checklists of all vehicles, forklifts, vans & lorries.
  • Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Ensure accurate kitting is carried out at 100% accuracy when delivering to the shop floor.
  • Kitting delivery times should be met as per schedule issued by your Team Lead / Manager.
  • Ensure Goods in and inventory is clear and located correctly on a daily basis with your full co-operation and effort with assigned staff.
  • Make continuous efforts to improve the standard of Warehouse housekeeping especially areas assigned to despatch to reach world class manufacturing standards.
  • Ensure a clear handover of information is provided between teams.
  • Any other duties as required and within any associated department.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent Written and Spoken English.
  • Previous experience using hand tools.
  • Good aptitude for mechanical assembly.
  • A good appreciation for Health & Safety within the workplace.
  • Have a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work is essential.
  • Self-Motivated and good time keeping and attendance.
  • Previous experience in a similar working environment (Desirable
  • Previous electrical knowledge (Desirable)
