AN UNCOMPROMISING COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

Whether you require a 1200A modular switchboard or a 6000A certified ‘L’ shaped bespoke switchboard, Anord Mardix has a solution to meet your needs. Our uncompromising commitment to build quality and engineering excellence ensures that every switchboard is designed and manufactured to exacting specifications and is delivered on time, every time.

At Anord Mardix, we take ongoing product development seriously. We have committed to extensive R&D and testing programs as part of our business investment. The results of this approach are demonstrated in the finished product; fully installed and tested LV switchgear with a design process that perfects the top-level assembly, automatically checking for accuracy, clearance and zero clashing parts.

Our approach is to work with end users, consultants, and contractors through every step of the design, manufacturing, and installation process. Our Anord Mardix LV switchgear design is 100% Anord Mardix owned and the most technically advanced and feature rich to date. Whatever your LV switchgear requirements, please contact us and find out more about what Anord Mardix can offer your project.

KEY FEATURES

  • Designed, tested and built to UL 891 with rigid, bolted construction as standard
  • Flexible construction with in-line and the more unusual back-to-back, U and L shaped configurations
  • Top, bottom, front or rear cable access is possible
  • Smallest footprint in the market and 6000A switchboards are also shallower than any others
  • Advanced 3D modelling technique delivers consistent construction standards
  • Type tested options for double stacking of ACBs, high density stacking of MCCBs, reduced height switchboards or bespoke cable management solutions for constrained spaces where temperature increases need to be carefully limited (see fuller details below).
  • Seismically tested and certified to IBC and OSHPD standards proving robust construction and resilience
  • Front access with top, bottom or side feed, suitable for thermal imaging
  • Fixed, Plug-In or Drawout circuit breakers available
  • Available with Integrated Exertherm™ thermal monitoring
  • NEMA 1 Enclosure with NEMA 3R in late stages of development
  • Provision for future extension
  • Group or individually mounted options available

As a context for all of the above, safety is an absolute priority for all Anord Mardix products in use.

Your operator of any functional unit will always be protected by a dead front cover. This cover will be the front door of the switchboard when the device is being operated with the door closed and it will be an internal cover when the device is being operated with the door open. When a device is being operated, the dead front cover provides full protection from live components. Devices can be individually, or group mounted and metallic barriers separate vertical switchboard sections.

Anord Mardix LV switchgear incorporate Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) and fuse switches. Typical brands used for these purposes are Schneider/Square D, ABB, Eaton, Siemens and Terasaki, which are recognized as high integrity components. If you have space constraints within in your building then you may require double stacking of ACBs, high density stacking of MCCBs, reduced height switchboards or customized cable management solutions.

Separate compartments are designated for metering, control and BMS terminals. Contacts for BMS are internally wired and taken to BMS terminal rails. Protection fuses and control components are clearly labelled and cross referenced to our schematic drawings.

MARKET LEADING BENEFITS

ROBUST – Tested at up to 100kA for 60 cycles.

REASSURANCE FROM REPUTATION – Evolution of proven IEC and UL switchgear products with decades of experience in the global market

BOLTED AND SCREW FIXED CONSTRUCTION – made from individually folded panels that are fitted and screw fixed together to form our superior Anord Mardix cubicle system with maximum rigidity

HINGED DOORS AND CHAMBERS – doors, busbar and cable chambers are all hinged for added safety.

VENTILATION – all naturally air cooled using UL891 and device manufacturers’ ventilation requirements

THERMAL IMAGING PORTS – designed by Anord Mardix and fitted to all MCCB and fuse switch outer doors, our thermal imaging ports are CNC cluster punched directly into the steel. A tamper proof retained fastener mechanism allows the port to be opened to allow efficient and non-invasive thermal imaging.

SWITCHBOARD GROUNDING – copper ground bars, sized as per UL891, run along the entire length of the switchboard and drop/rise vertically where required. Top mounted ground for top entry and bottom mounted ground for bottom entry.
