Roles and Responsibilities
- Receiving/inspecting goods on site or off site.
- Make sure all documentation is filled in properly and signed and dated.
- Creating picklists & picking material for onsite/off site to schedule and delivering to line/site.
- Offloading materials for Goods Inward Inspection
- Movement of material/product to line side or with in the warehouse
- Maintain stock, label/combine/tidy.
- Operating fork truck and Reach trucks
- Packing/palletising/wrapping of goods for onward shipping.
- Checklists of all vehicles, forklifts, vans & lorries.
- Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures.
- Kitting delivery times should be met as per schedule issued by your Team Lead / Manager.
- Ensure Goods in and inventory is clear and located correctly on a daily basis
- Make continuous efforts to improve the standard of Warehouse housekeeping
- Any other duties as required and within any associated department.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role
- Forklift license required
- Knowledge of any WMS system required
- Computer Literate with use of Microsoft Word, Excel and use of MRP or ERP systems would be an advantage
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work is essential including overtime hours to meet business demands.
