This year, the Anord Mardix UK team have chosen to host their very own charity event where employees (along with their family and friends) can attend, whilst supporting a charity local to one of our sites in the UK.

Anord Mardix was, once upon a time, two separate family owned businesses – one of which was based in Kendal.
Our close ties to the region remains as strong as ever, with three facilities based in Kendal today.
The Anord Mardix Employee Day is a UK-based event with the aim of fundraising for a charity close to our hearts.
This year, our UK staff have voted to support DENS, a charity dedicated to supporting those who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.

About DENS
Most people know DENS as the homeless charity for people in Dacorum. In fact, DENS do so much more than just provide a roof and a bed.
Their aim is to be the first port of call for people in Dacorum who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion; to support and empower them to take the next positive step in their lives, secure and maintain a long-term housing option and be an active member of their community.
DENS ensure individuals have access to temporary and short-term accommodation, and individuals and families have access to emergency food and provisions. They provide a range of services so that people can develop the resilience, skills and confidence to take the next step in their lives.
