The Big Cycle 2024 is the third annual charity cycling event, hosted by Anord Mardix and will be held at Kendal Rugby Club this year.
Anord Mardix was, once upon a time, two separate family owned businesses – one of which was based in Kendal.
Our close ties to the region remains as strong as ever, with three facilities based in Kendal today.
The Anord Mardix Big Cycle is a UK-based event with the aim of fundraising for a charity close to our hearts.
This year, our UK staff have voted to support Crohn’s & Colitis UK, a charity dedicated to Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and other forms of inflammatory bowel disease.
About Crohn’s & Colitis UK
Every day, people are diagnosed with Crohn’s or Colitis, the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease. You could be any age, rich or poor, of any faith or none, of any ethnicity, sexuality, or gender. You could be anyone walking down any UK street. Whoever you are, a diagnosis of Crohn’s or Colitis will be life changing.
Since 1979, Crohn’s & Colitis UK has been there for everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. For more information on the incredible work they do, please visit their website here.
