CNC Milling Machine Operative

Anord Mardix are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.

Due to continued expansion we currently have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Milling Machine Operative to join our Production team in Kendal.

We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work with enthusiasm as part of a growing team. Candidates must work efficiently and show attention to detail whilst working to deadlines.

Kendal

· Managing a pipeline of works orders for the CNC machine

· Setting jobs on the machines

· Monitoring the quality of the work

· Checking work against drawings to ensure accuracy

· Changing tooling as required to complete a works order Ensuring the machinery is kept in excellent working order

· Maintaining a clean and safe environment around the CNC

· Programming and setting skills (AutoCAD and Elumatec would be an advantage)

· Be proficient at machining different types of aluminium extrusion into parts

· Ability to work confidently from technical drawings and have solid experience with a variety of machinery and tools

· Ability to work accurately and methodically whilst maintaining a clean and tidy work space

· Be confident at working independently whilst also able to work effectively as part of a team on a variety of different projects
