Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Training Lead in D2. This is a busy and rewarding environment and a great opportunity to develop your career within Anord Mardix based at the Dundalk site. This is a temporary, part time position with a six month duration.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Responsibility for developing a training program for the internal electrical wire team
  • Conduct on the job electrical training with selected GO’s
  • Fault finding schematics layouts and communicating all issues to engineering
  • Liase with the production, QC and Test teams on site specific issues to improve Quality
  • Offer support, guidance, instruct, motivate, and organise team members
  • Help team members realise their potential.
  • Input into planning, instructing, and negotiating within the team or with management
  • Help to identify training requirements and train existing and new team members.
  • Assess work / instructions received from management.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Actively take part in any Continuous Improvement events.
  • Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
  • Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Qualified electrician with 10+ years post qualification experience
  • Experience in the development and delivery of high quality technical / practical training
  • Previous experience in training and mentoring electrical apprentices
  • Proven ability to coach and develop employees / apprentices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent presentation skills
