To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Fabrication Deputy Team Lead for the Evening & Weekend shift.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the Fabrication Supervisor in the daily running of the team.
- Offer support, guidance, instruct, motivate, and organise team members
- Develop the team to be a cohesive group and work effectively together.
- Help team members realise their potential.
- Assist the Fabrication Supervisor in the distribution of work among team members.
- Input into planning, instructing, and negotiating within the team or with management
- Help to identify training requirements and train existing and new team members.
- Assess work / instructions received from management.
- Plan, organise and delegate appropriate work to team members.
- Monitor progress of work and provide feedback to the team members.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Actively take part in any Continuous Improvement events.
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
- Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures.
- Ad hoc duties covering other areas
Experience & Skills Required:
- Ability to organise workload and use initiative.
- Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives.
- High level of organisation.
- Efficient with thorough methods of working.
- Must be capable of achieving production and quality targets.
